We got something new. My foster mom says it's called a swimming pool. We even got bathing suits.
But it's a really big water bowl. It's big enough that we can actually get in it but for the most part, we really just drink out of it. I like being in the water but I liked the creek better.
Yesterday, my foster mom took me to a movie. We went to see Clash of the Titans. I bet it was a pretty good movie but I didn't get to see it. I have to down stay. I still had fun.
When we got there, I found out Aunt Amy and Guinness were going too. I like Guinness. He's very handsome. We went inside to get tickets and my foster mom started getting her money out of her pocket. That's the same pocket she keeps treats in so I was pretty interested. She let me hold the the piece of paper. I tried to eat it so she took it away. Then, we went to this long counter and we got some popcorn and a drink. I found out popcorn is really good. The reason I found that out is because I found that if I danced around and pulled, I could get my foster mom to drop popcorn on the floor. I got in trouble but it was worth it.
After the movie was over, we stood outside for a few minutes. I found ants on the sidewalk and ate them. Hey, I only got a few pieces of popcorn.
I had a really good time this afternoon. My foster mom took me to a place called a creek over in Ringgold, Ga. She let me play in the water. I've drank water before and I like to play in the water bucket. Sometimes I paw at it. but this was a big long puddle of water on the ground. I really liked it!
My foster mom found this thing on my face. Of course, she had to take a picture of it. She said it's a zit. At least it went away.
And no one showed my sister, Ruby. This is her. We were born in the same litter. Everyone says we look identical. She sure is a pretty dog!
Also, we went out to dinner with Aunt Amy and Guinness. When we got there, it turns out there was a carnival in the parking lot. There sure were a lot of good smells there.
My foster mom took me on a long trip! First, we stopped at Uncle J's. He's my foster mom's brother. We had a nice visit, then went to bed. I had a special bed. It's a collapsable crate. It collapsed on me during the night but I didn't say anything. I just napped and waited for my foster mom to fix it in the morning.
The next morning, we left and went to Auntie's house. It's a lot of fun there. I got to play with Rusty and their dogs, Jake (pictured), JD and Freckles. Freckles doesn't really play, she just growls. I got to sleep in the same crate but it didn't collapse on me again.
Then we went on a long drive but when we stopped, we met a real service dog in Orlando, Florida. His name is Otis
and he is really neat. My foster mom raised him when he was a puppy, just like she's raising me. Now he lives with his forever person and helps her out. He has a really nice family and Otis and I played a lot while I was there. Then we saw fireworks. It was really neat.
Our next stop was at my foster mom's dad's house in Lakeland, Florida. He liked me. He even played with me some. Then we went to Aunt Angie's house. She is my foster mom's bestest friend. I liked it there too.
After we left there, we went over to Clearwater because my foster mom was going to a seminar, which is like school. I got to go to the seminar and learned to down and sleep while people talked. One guy behind us dropped some food and I raced him to get it. I would have won if my foster mom hadn't pulled me back. I went out to dinner too and practiced my downs. We went for some walks
and I met squirrels and a horse. The horse was like a really really big dog and I didn't like it that much. It smelled kinda funny too.
After the seminar, we started heading home. We stopped at Auntie's house again and I got to play some more. Then we came home. What a long trip but it was really fun. The only bad thing about this trip was I rodein the crate. You can see it in the back of the truck. Not much of a view!
My foster mom picked me up at CADAS and we stopped at this place called Greenlife on our way home. It's a grocery store kind of place and was pretty neat.
While we were there, I saw some REALLY big dogs. I was like... what is THAT!
But being as how I'm going to be a service dog, I just ignored them. Sort of. I did listen in case they got out or something.
I went out to dinner. Not sure why it's "out to dinner" and not just "out." I don't get anything. Oh a treat here or there before we go in or after we come out. So many good smells too. I think I might be getting the short end of the leash on this but I guess that's okay. It's all helping me to become a good service dog! This is me being a good girl and doing down. I can't go under the table though.
Guinness and Sheba are over there. I'll try to play with them if I'm next to them so I have to stay over here until I learn when not to play.
Okay, I'll practice being good. Practice makes perfect and I want to be a perfect service dog!
